In the summer of 2025 we bought a small dinghy that is kept at Tangkrogen in Aarhus. The dinghy was where it all started for me, and soon I began gazing out across Aarhus Bay. One thing led to another, and after a lot of theory (Danish Yachtskipper, Duelighedsbevis, speedboat licence, VHF, CEVNI) we ended up with a slightly bigger boat.
NauticMap was made for my Danish Yachtskipper project because I felt there was a lack of tools for the theory behind the Danish Yachtskipper and Duelighedsbevis certificates. I have made calculator versions of course conversion tables, current triangles and more, and the chart has made it easier for us to plan routes from home and print passage plans on paper that we can take on board for longer trips. I hope others will find the tools useful too.
